Frequently Asked Questions

Are all tours private?

We strive to keep tours small and intimate with 10 or less individuals. If you have a request that a tour be private we will try our best to accommodate but there are no guarantees. Please contact us directly for these requests.

Do I need a ticket or can I just go there?

All Farm Tours are by reserved appointment only. Reservations can be booked via advance ticket purchases made on the tab "more" and "book online" option on our website.

What if I don't see a time slot I want or I can't book for # of participants in my group?

In order to allow social distancing we only open a certain amount of bookings per day and those can fill up pretty quickly. If you are interested in a certain day/time and you don't see if available. Please contact us to discuss and we will try our best to make it work.

If you are attempting to book for a certain amount of people for a booking and the website will not allow you to that means that those additional spots are not available & we may be full

What should I wear for a tour?

We do our very best to keep our farm and tours clean, but this is a working farm with lots of animals, dirt, feed and poop! Please wear outdoor shoes and expect they may get dirty.! Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Our herd will take every opportunity to jump up on you or rub their snouts on your pants and so while I am sure your new shirt looks great on you we suggest you go for that old t-shirt you got for running/walking that 5k that one time. We require close toed shoes and even better if you have boots because on days where there has been rain prior it can be a muddy.

What does the tour include?

The full farmhand experience tour is an hour long educational tour and will include feed/treats for all the animals. You will have the opportunity to walk the farm and learn about and meet some of our animals who make up Cedarbrook Alpaca Farm. This is a hands on tour where you will be entering the animals living areas to really get to know them.

What time do I need to arrive?

We ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled tour so we can have you sign our liability waiver and for introductions. For a copy of our waiver in advance please contact us. If you do not see us at the front please remain in your car. That means we are finishing up another tour. We will come to get you once we are finished.

Ticket purchase is required for anyone 2 years of age and up.
